50 Bye Bye Till Then Butch Moore & the Capitols*

*The identity of this week's #50 is uncertain. The only clue we had to its title was 'Till Then'. Frank believes the single might be 'Bye Bye Till Then',
but Alan Field points out that this title is listed as a B-side rather than an A and that the Butch Moore single did not come out until November 1964. A possibility is that Caroline had been sent a pre-release copy, but the record company changed its plans about the release date. However, at present we have no other clues about which single was at #50.
The record placed at #50 in the Melody Maker chart for October 10th is Dionne Warwick's 'Reach Out for Me', which does not contain the lyrics 'bye bye' or 'till then'.
We are open to any other suggestions.
