At the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel,
Michelle Signore from Transworld Books officially launches 'Hello Darlings'...

...with a toast to Kenny

James and co-author Robert sign Jon and Simon's copies. Simon 'Betty' Booker was the ghost-author of Kenny's autobiography 'The Custard Stops at Hatfield'. He said Kenny never read it as he reckoned he 'already knew all about himself".

Wilfred D'eath, who gave Kenny his first
break in radio, is the authors' first
guest on stage.

Johnny Beerling, who secretly visited the Galaxy and saw the full potential of modelling
Radio One on Radio London.
He rose through the ranks to become
the station Controller

Rupert Hine of Quantum Jump, whose single
'The Lone Ranger' was pioneered by Kenny,
delighted the audience by still being word-perfect
(as far as anyone could tell) in saying
"Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateapokaiwhenuakitanatahu"
