Willy Walker has kindly forwarded these photos taken by Mich at an early Radio London reunion, held at Stewpot Mansions.
The guys were commemorating 21 years since the station closedown

We'll Meet Again – Down Under!

In 2002, Ian 'Wombat' Damon and his wife Janice, took an extended trip to Oz. Among the friends they caught up with while they were there, was Norm St John.

We are extremely grateful to Ian (left) for forwarding this happy photograph. Although they were both Big L jocks, from Down Under, Norm and Ian did not serve aboard the Galaxy together.

Happy Birthday, Duncan!

Duncan Johnson most kindly shares photos of the guests at his 'Bus Pass' birthday celebration

Duncan with his good friend from the Galaxy, Michel Philistin and his wife Jeanne. Mich was the young Haitian crew member who sailed with the Galaxy from Miami and worked as a steward aboard the ship throughout Radio London's life. He made frequent Coffee Break appearances and became popular with listeners who wrote to him to help him with learning English. After the station close-down, Mich settled down in England.
Two more Swingin' Sixties pals. Duncan's 'other career' during the decade of far-out fashion, was (in common with Willy Walker) in male modelling. Left of this photo is Softly, a fellow model, and later a record promoter. No prizes for identifying the Cashman on the right!
Jon Myer, who worked with Duncan at Capital Radio. Duncan's caption: "Jon being amazed by the programming of Trevor White of Magic Radio."
Freddie Ryder, the man who knows everyone in offshore radio! Freddie is the Caroline House recording engineer who was responsible for the production of commercials and promos - and for hiring Keefers! (Photo thanks to Mich)
