Radio Caroline 45th Birthday Reunion

Roger 'Twiggy' Day's Caroline 40th birthday reunion in 2004 was so successful that he decided to arrange another party for the station's 45th. Disappointingly, the jocks' former watering hole close to Chesterfield Gardens, the Red Lion, has now closed. The celebration had to be reconvened at another pub in the vicinity, Ye Grapes.

Unfortunately, many guests from five years ago were unable to attend due to illness, others were living abroad or busy working, and sadly Tony Allan and Chris Cary are no longer with us. However, we did see one or two new faces and it was good to welcome Tony Simon (aboard the Mi Amigo 1967 and a member of the Herd) Norah Barnes, who ran Daffy Don Allan's fan club and Caroline's infamous stowaway, Sylvan.
