Wishing the 'Radio London Big L' website a very Happy 20th Birthday, and 2 decades of huge thanks and appreciation to my friends Mary and Chris for their commitment to our radio heritage, and keeping the memories alive.
Hans Knot Wonderful update and congratulations to the both of you. Starting in 1999! Just a year after we started Soundscapes on March 21 1918. Hope a lot more will be appearing and keep on the very good work!
Ray Clark Wow - 20 years and a lot of hard work! Congrats on a great website.
Jon Myer Fantastic update. Happy 20th anniversary to you and Chris (and Moosie, of course).
Alan Hardy Congratulations on 20 years of keeping the memories alive, putting shipmates back in touch and providing endless facts, reference and enjoyment for all who visit the Radio London website. The fact that information and queries keep on coming shows the value too. Yes, it's meant a lot of hard work, dedication, research, time and quite often frustration, headaches and some difficulties.......but just sit back, pause and reflect.  The world of offshore radio and the legacy of Radio London would not be the same if you hadn't embarked on the idea all those years ago. Thanks to you both (and of course the various contributors) for all you have done.
John Sales Congratulations and many thanks, indeed, for your mega March 2019 Radio London Website Birthday update! It was certainly a mammoth task and I believe you've done a wonderful job. Of course, you've also been doing a wonderful job for the past 20 years, too - Just wanted to point that out!

Congratulations are also due, of course, to Chris and Cousin Moosie!
'Fab' Alan Field Well done on the bumper birthday site update, and thanks very much for your kind words about my own contribution. Much appreciated. It's always been a pleasure, and I've often thought I should be the one thanking you and Chris, for giving me the opportunity and publishing me!
Stephen Chesney

Many thanks for the abundant update.  I was pleased it included a tribute to elder statesman Keith Skues celebrating two milestones.

Warmest congratulations on attaining your 20th anniversary.  I first became aware of the website on 28th August 2000 during Radio London 2000 when I heard you on the coffee break.  Ever since, as you know, I have been an avid follower and it has been a pleasure and privilege to contribute from time to time.

Geoff Pearson – Radio London 1964-66 Happy Birthday RL website.
I think you do a great job of keeping our legacy alive.
Here's to 20 more years.
George Hare Congratulations to Mary & Chris for your brilliant site and now for reaching your 20th Anniversary. Lots of love to all, George
John Preston Happy Birthday! Still my most visited website and home page, and still fab after all these years! CONGRATULATIONS!
Raoul Verolleman Congrats on your 20th anniversary and thank you for the 'Sgt Pepper' feature. I didn't expect such a long article but it's exhaustive and very interesting.
Mike Barraclough Congratulations to you both on the 20th anniversary of the Radio London website. It's a great and expanding resource for not only the history of Radio London but for the artists and music featured.
Tony Lawther Congratulations and thank you for your magnificent site, that is a true reference for the offshore radio era. It has given me enormous pleasure since my discovering it, and has occupied many happy evenings. It it were a book it would be described as 'unable to put down'. I frequently refer people to it as The Source for radio information.
John Hutley Happy 20th Birthday from me. Congratulations on maintaining the news and information over such a long period and in an entertaining manner.

Isn't it strange that the older we get, the more publicity and memories about Radio London and all the other offshore stations now seem to exist. No doubt you can remember back at the end of 1967 that any mention of them throughout the media, and particularly on the BBC, was considered to be pretty much a criminal offence!

Anyway, thanks again for all the hard work you've both put in to join together the former listeners, such as me, and all the professionals who made it work back in the day.
