30/6/08 - I was first involved in radio back in 1966 when, as 'Eric Martin', I broadcast on Radio City from the Shivering Sands Towers, 4 miles down stream from Red Sands. Soon after the station closed I left the airwaves. But since taking early retirement from the financial world in 2002, I returned to radio broadcasting on many RSLs in Surrey & Sussex. Now I'm very much involved in hospital radio helping to train the radio voices of the future. "It feels kinda strange broadcasting again from the Thames Estuary after so many years but great fun too" "Like they say what goes around, comes around"

My show on Red Sands Radio is a Country Music programme "I know there's a growing interest in new country music on this side of the Atlantic so I hope you'll enjoy it" - Richard Lee (Eric Martin)
